In an abundance of caution, the Friendly Garden Club of Beverly is cancelling both March and April events, doings it part to minimize any potential spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Teresa Mosher, President of the New England Rose Society, is a leading garden and rose consultant in the Northeast. She has a lifetime of experience and a passion for her love of roses and their beauty. Teresa is an author, a flower judge, and has received numerous horticulture awards. She has held many leadership positions in the American Rose Society. She volunteers, consults and teaches others to care for roses.
Teresa’s program will focus on “Easy Rose Care. She will review: uncovering winter protected roses, pruning (when and how), planting (best location and sun exposure for growing), common diseases (how to recognize and avoid), how to environmentally treat roses, easy fertilizing, and how to choose the best hardy roses for your interest.
